Job Summary

The Manager, Solution Support, India will lead Belden's Solution Consulting Support function in India, providing technical leadership for our networking solutions and enabling successful customer deployments. This role requires a strong customer-centric mindset, deep technical expertise in industrial networking technologies, and the ability to support complex customer engagements while partnering closely with other teams.

 

The Solution Support Manager will provide technical support to qualify solution landing and process technical requests from customers and internal peer departments.

 

You will also guide our partners in architecting solutions, presenting compelling recommendations, and convincing prospective Hirschmann customers to implement our industry-leading open-source solutions.

 

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Solution Consulting & Services, India.

 

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Be responsible for the technical service for Belden products and solutions in India and lead the service team professionally.  
  • Support sales and solution consultants in qualifying opportunities, development and realization of technical solutions to meet customer requirements (e.g., PoC, FAT)
  • Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical demonstrations, solution validation, and customer escalations.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and partners during solution design, implementation, and post-sales engagements.
  • Provide technical training and development for your team, ensuring that they always have comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the entire Belden product portfolio                                    
  • Deliver technical enablement sessions for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and solution best practices.
  • Collaborate with global engineering and product teams to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements.
  • Support business growth through customer engagement and technical solution advocacy.

 

What will you bring?

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in telecom, computer science, electrical, electronic engineering or related specialties
  • Markets – Minimum 12 - 15 years of industry experience and technical team handling experience
  • Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet, OT/IT networking, network segmentation, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong hands-on experience/expertise in enterprise/industrial networking technologies - Ethernet Switching, Routing, Network Security, MPLS, VPN, and Wireless (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
  • Experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS, OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP, QoS, Multicast, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and IPv4/IPv6.
  • Strong understanding of MPLS/MPLS-TP, redundancy protocols, network resiliency, and high-availability architectures.
  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust, IEC 62443, or other industrial cybersecurity standards is preferred.
  • Exposure to Wireless Networking is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with wireless network design, RF fundamentals, site surveys, roaming optimization, and troubleshooting will add advantage.
  • Experience with enterprise or industrial networking OEMs such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Extreme Networks, Moxa, Siemens, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Exposure to network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Central, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles, supporting enterprise customers and partners.
