General Summary
Renewals Inside Sales Rep is responsible for the renewal sales process for their respective territory from opportunity management through sales closure for support, license, and XaaS renewals. They focus on current customer renewals working with Sales, Distribution Partners, and Solution Providers to drive the sales process with a renewal contract optimally. This includes but is not limited to renewal sales execution, preparing/updating quotes, opportunity management, close plans, and handling incoming requests for their sales territory. Able to work independently and excel in verbal and written communication skills to get results.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading and updating all assigned opportunities throughout the sales process
- Ensuring all opportunities are quoted
- Driving sales process through engagement with Sales and Partners
- Overcome objections and adjust quotations as the need arises to ensure the best solution is presented to the customer
- Sell the benefits of timely renewals, multi-year, and coterminous contracts
- Collaborate and follow up with Sales and Partners on sales strategies in an effort to drive the renewal rate
- Respond to email & phone inquiries from internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Inside Sales or customer engagement role
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
- Good at detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Good written & verbal communication
- Understanding of business math – pricing, discounts, etc.
- Ability to handle a sophisticated process and apply flexible thinking skills to achieve results
- Proven experience with MS Office and CRM systems such as SFDC and/or MS Dynamics
