Position Summary

The Finish Good Planner is responsible for managing the supply chain activities related to finished products across multiple factories. This role ensures timely availability of finished goods to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. The planner leverages SAP's Material Requirements Planning (MRP) module to coordinate production, handle stock, and ensure accurate delivery schedules. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders such as production teams, suppliers, and order fulfillment are key to ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly.

 

 

The employment contract is 2 years fixed term due to maternity leave coverage. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process for finished products using SAP.
  • Generate, release, and monitor planned orders and purchase requisitions to ensure product availability.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of finished goods by analyzing demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels to align with safety stock policies, demand fluctuations, and production plans.
  • Minimize excess inventory while preventing stockouts, with a focus on optimization.
  • Collaborate with production teams across multiple factories to ensure timely and efficient production planning.
  • Work closely with sales and demand planning teams to incorporate accurate demand forecasts into the MRP process.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, including sales, production, and logistics, to facilitate smooth execution of supply chain processes.
  • Maintain accurate SAP master data related to finished products.

Key Competencies

  • Strong Knowledge of SAP MRP Module
  • Ability to analyze large datasets related to production, inventory, and demand forecasts.
  • Proactive approach to resolving supply chain bottlenecks and inventory issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Office tools especially Excel
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, demand planning, and inventory management.
  • Fluent English is required; German will an advantage
