Job Purpose
Participate in the development of new products, their introduction into production, and the launch of serial manufacturing. Evaluate and qualify new raw materials and materials from new suppliers for production. Continuously improve the quality of existing products and enhance the cost efficiency of manufacturing processes. Contribute to the development and optimization of production and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product development projects in cooperation with the EMEA R&D team.
- Ensure, define, and maintain tooling, material, and technological requirements and specifications for new products and raw materials.
- Initiate purchase requisitions for the required tools, materials, and equipment.
- Supervise pilot production and trial manufacturing runs.
- Perform material standard calculations and analyses; create and update material standards in the ERP system.
- Enter and maintain engineering and production data in the ERP system.
- Participate in product quality improvement projects.
- Participate in cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvement projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Prepare documentation for new part numbers and maintain related database records and manufacturing routings.
- Develop training materials and work instructions for manufacturing processes; provide training and assess employees' competence.
- Participate in the preparation for annual ISO audits and Kaizen events.
- Participate in monthly closing activities and inventory counts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Active, communicative English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
