About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Process Lead to define the strategic direction, governance, and transformation roadmap for Supply & Material Planning processes across our six EMEA manufacturing sites.

As the company transitions from multiple ERP systems to a unified SAP S/4HANA platform, you will play a critical role in shaping the regional process model, driving alignment with global standards, and ensuring sustainable adoption across the organization. This role operates at a senior regional level, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, guiding major transformation decisions, and delivering measurable business impact in service, inventory, cost, and operational resilience.

This position requires deep expertise in end-to-end planning, strong business process ownership, and the ability to lead change across a complex, multinational manufacturing environment.

You will make a difference in the following ways (weighting of the areas of responsibility indicated in parentheses):

Strategic Process Ownership & Design (35%)

  • Own the strategic EMEA Supply & Material Planning process framework, covering demand translation, MRP, capacity planning, replenishment, and planning governance.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement (30%)

  • Define and monitor process performance through a robust KPI framework focused on service, inventory, planning accuracy, adherence, and cost.
  • Identify structural performance gaps and lead cross-site corrective actions to improve planning effectiveness and business outcomes.

Change Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement (20%)

  • Lead regional change initiatives that strengthen process maturity, functional capability, and organizational readiness.
  • Coach and guide local planning teams and business stakeholders through transformation, ensuring strong engagement and sustainable adoption.

ERP Consolidation & Transformation (15% with increasing weighting over the next 1–2 years)

  • Lead process design decisions, fit-gap assessments, solution validation, and business readiness activities during implementation.
  • Provide direction on data, process, and system migration requirements to support a successful transition from legacy environments.
  • Drive simplification, automation, and digital enablement opportunities through S/4HANA capabilities, including advanced planning functionality and integration opportunities such as IBP.
  • Act as the key escalation point for complex process issues, trade-off decisions, and cross-functional alignment challenges.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain process leadership in a multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in MRP, production planning, material management, and end-to-end supply planning processes.
  • Deep working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA; experience with SAP IBP and/or GIB is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience leading regional or enterprise-wide process harmonization, ERP transformation, or operating model redesign initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives in functional organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Comfortable working across multiple cultures, sites, and functions in a complex international business.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to lead the transformation and optimization of Supply & Material Planning across the EMEA manufacturing network.
  • High-impact role with strategic visibility and strong cross-functional exposure.
  • Be part of a major digital and process transformation journey with tangible business outcomes.
