Job Summary

Belden is executing one of the most significant business transformations in its history through a Global ERP Transformation built on SAP S/4HANA. This role sits at the intersection of that transformation and our day-to-day business operations.

As a Business Process Specialist – ERP Transformation, you will serve as the process governance authority for a broad portfolio of supply chain and operational functions — ensuring that business process design decisions made during implementation are understood, adopted, and executed consistently across our functional and site teams. This is a high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role with a long runway for growth as the program scales globally.

What You'll Do

Business Process Governance

  • Serve as the primary business process resource across Order-to-Cash, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance workstreams during the global rollout of Belden's ERP Transformation
  • Define, document, and maintain future-state business process standards in alignment with SAP S/4HANA design and Belden's operational strategy
  • Partner with functional leads and site teams to validate process designs against real-world execution requirements
  • Identify process gaps, risks, and deviations; escalate and resolve with appropriate stakeholders

Functional Scope

  • Order Management — Support the design and adoption of order management processes including complex and solutions-based configurations
  • Planning — Support planning of manufacturing and procured supply to optimize service, cost, and inventory while also partnering with the SIOP team to ensure factory and DC planning processes align with the broader S&OP framework
  • Procurement — Cover both direct and indirect material sourcing processes from requisition through payment
  • Manufacturing — Support shop floor execution, quality management, and EAM/maintenance processes; coordinate integration points with other project teams
  • Logistics — Cover inbound and outbound process design, cycle counting, physical inventory, global trade (Customs/Import-Export compliance), and coordinate TMS integration with the responsible program team
  • Finance — Partner with finance stakeholders across the full spectrum of financial process implications tied to operational workflows

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between functional process owners, site teams, and the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team
  • Support training and readiness activities by providing process expertise and clear documentation
  • Integrate with parallel workstreams (SIOP, MES, TMS) to ensure end-to-end process coherence across the program

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred, or 10+ years relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or business process roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading business process design during an ERP implementation (SAP strongly preferred; SAP S/4HANA a significant plus)
  • Functional knowledge across two or more of the following: order management, procurement, planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, or finance operations
  • Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions, drive alignment, and document outcomes clearly
  • Experience working within a structured project or program environment
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate process complexity for both frontline operators and senior stakeholders
  • 30% domestic travel required - possible international travel needed also

Preferred

  • SAP S/4HANA hands-on experience in a relevant module (MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, FI/CO)
  • Familiarity with ancillary systems such as label management platforms, TMS solutions, or MES environments
  • Experience in a global manufacturing company with multi-site operations
