Job Summary:

The Finance Director will support the Innovation Product Finance team. This role will be responsible for business partnering with the Innovation Product team, including P&L reporting and analysis, business cases building, portfolio analysis and optimization, and reviewing R&D cost allocation.While the preferred location is either our Carmel, IN or Chicago, IL office; we're open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Responsible for Monthly and Quarterly Forecasts, and Annual Budget
  • Create and maintain forecast model for Product P&L
  • Work closely with Innovation Product Team leaders to support the revenue and profitability growth of the product portfolio
  • Translate business objectives and product roadmaps into financial implications and ROI analyses
  • Cross-functional collaboration to enable alignment of business goals, including portfolio optimization, product EOL decisions, standard cost reduction, etc.
  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor key financial and operational metrics
  • Additional ad-hoc assignments and projects supporting the Innovation team as requested.


Required Skills and Experience
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Finance or Accounting
  • 8 - 12  years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis with experience managing P&L from revenue to EBITDA
  • Strategic thinker with strong Business Acumen; understand and explains reasoning for decisions/ business recommendations
  • Proven ability to translate business and technical strategy into financial impact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong team player
  • Proficiency in ERP and financial analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Toad, SAP, etc.)
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and work through changes

 

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $150,000 - 190,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
