Belden’s US Internship Program offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over 12 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience crafting business solutions while developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and function-specific knowledge.

 

As a member of our 2027 US Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed in a global team of experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced, project-based internship positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves professionally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You’ll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders.

 

Finance at Belden is a true business partner, embedded within each major segment of the company and also provides centers of expertise. Finance teams here build models, analyze margins, support mergers and acquisitions activity, and help translate data into strategic action.   

Finance Internship roles provide the opportunity to work out of the Carmel, IN office.

 

How you can add value within the Finance function:

  • Review operational expenses, forecasting and analysis 
  • Build competitor analysis  
  • Align sales funnel data with reported numbers to aid in the accuracy of historical analysis 
  • Create data visualization tools for key reports 
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvement to reporting 

 

Successful Finance Intern candidates will offer:

  • Current enrollment with pursuit of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field of study
  • Related project or work experience utilizing Excel and analytical tools, strong analytical mindset, financial modeling and/or variance analysis
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities  
  • High learning agility and intellectual curiosity along with initiative, accountability, and a bias for action  
  • Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments, authorization to work in the country of employment

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $27-37/hour. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicants experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
