This individual will champion operational excellence, ensuring our marketing efforts are as effective and impactful as possible.

You’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Marketing Process Optimization & Leadership:

  • Establish prioritization frameworks to assess and prioritize which processes require immediate focus and optimization.
  • Drive process improvements with the explicit goals of achieving greater efficiencies, effectively leveraging marketing technology and ultimately contributing to business growth.
  • Key process areas to focus on include growth initiatives, campaign and lead management, social media and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) processes, new product and solution introduction (NPI/NSI) processes, content and creative development and more. Any marketing process is in scope, prioritized by its potential contribution to growth.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Oversee and strategically manage all relationships with marketing vendors and agencies, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and budget.
  • Determine the optimal selection and utilization of vendors for specific marketing initiatives and needs.
  • Ensure all external vendors and agencies are thoroughly trained on our brand identity guidelines, established marketing processes and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Process Improvement:

  • Identify, analyze and lead the improvement of critical cross-functional processes that involve the marketing department (e.g., marketing-to-sales handoff, product launch coordination, customer feedback loops).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from other departments to reduce friction, enhance communication and streamline workflows, ensuring seamless execution and improved outcomes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing leadership, marketing systems and analytics teams to ensure process improvements are supported by technology and data.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall marketing strategy by providing insights into operational capabilities and limitations.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging methodologies, and technological advancements in marketing operations and process improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of relevant work experience within marketing operations, strategy or project management.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining marketing program processes.
  • Knowledge of lean philosophies and application across continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and leverage technology to improve processes in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience articulating and championing the business impact of marketing initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing change.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
