- Principle Accountabilities:
1.1 Basic Function

- Enforce plant wide safety procedures and practices. Abide by all HSE&E requirements. Responsible for providing recognition and positive reinforcement to all Team Members in a manner to further develop each member of the team.
- The role will be responsible for demand estimating and production planning throughout the company for all products manufactured at Belden Cobourg Plant , consistent with the principles of LEAN manufacturing
- Oversee the planning and scheduling for the plant as well as coordinate materials availability to support production developed schedules.
- Resolve delivery issues and develop strategies to enhance improvements in inventory flow plus production control.
- Coordinate material Control Systems, inbound receipts, all related activities to ensure the effective flow of material to support Manufacturing and internal teams.
- Ensure that Receivers are verifying correctly against the paperwork, entering proper information into BPCS, and placing material in designated areas.
- Ensure that Receivers are following proper Non-Conforming Damaged Material procedure. Follow up on damaged material reported and completing the steps of the Damaged Material Work Procedure.
- Ensure that supplier returnable packing is sent out daily.
- Work within a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of legislative safety requirements.
- Quick Problem Solving to ensure smooth operations and to keep the customer at no risk.
- Strong knowledge of shipping / receiving and all related requirements.
- Perform all roles and responsibilities as defined by the BELDEN policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean environment with daily 5S.
- Has the authority to stop the production process if a quality or safety concern is noticed.
