Job Title: OT Network Specialist
Overview:
The OT Network Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s operational technology (OT) network and automation systems. This role ensures reliable communication between production systems and IT infrastructure while bridging collaboration between the Engineering and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the OT network from the IT firewall through to machine-level switches.
- Configure and monitor Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices to ensure stable production connectivity.
- Develop and update Ignition SCADA applications, including screen design, scripting, and system integration.
- Maintain and support custom in-house applications written in C#.
- Manage and standardize HMI computers used in production.
- Create, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases for manufacturing data and reporting.
- Serve as the communication bridge between IT and Engineering teams to align project goals and resolve conflicting requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of industrial network systems (Layer 2/3, VLANs, routing, managed switches).
- Experience with SCADA development, preferably Ignition.
- Proficiency in Python and C#.
- SQL Server experience, including query writing and database design.
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range $72,200 to $100,300
