QEHS Manager wanted for Belden Cekan!
Do you want to be the one who makes quality, safety and the environment go together in everyday life – not just on paper, but out on the floor? Do you thrive on creating structure, asking the right questions and driving improvements that can be both measured and felt? And do you want to help lift our certifications, EHS programs and environmental initiatives in an international manufacturing company? Then you might be our new QEHS Manager.
About the role:
We are looking for a committed colleague for our factory in Gjern, Central Jutland. This is a role where you will be a central focal point between production, R&D, management and the rest of the organisation when it comes to ensuring high standards and continuous improvements.
As a QEHS Manager you will work as part of a matrix organisation, reporting directly to the factory manager on-site and to the Q and EHS Managers EMEA respectively in a dotted line. This position makes you part of the management team and has one direct report.
You will make a difference in the following ways:
• Developing, evaluating, improving and implementing a new integrated management system at Belden Cekan.
• Securing necessary certifications such as ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and upcoming projects such as ISO 45001 in collaboration with external authorities.
• Conducting internal audits and supplier audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Handling complaints and collaborating with R&D and production management on corrective actions.
• Supporting production by monitoring and auditing quality systems and initiating improvement initiatives.
• Responsibility for the Quality Room, including layout, equipment and procedures.
• Planning and execution of calibration programs and archiving systems for product specifications.
• Participation in the health and safety committee and lean projects for continuous improvement.
• Responsibility for reporting ESG data as well as quality and safety to the remaining group.
What you bring:
We are looking for a candidate who can combine structure with impact while thriving on working close to both people and processes. You have an eye for detail, but can also lift your gaze and see connections across the board.
You might be an ideal fit if you:
• Have experience with quality, safety and environmental management, preferably from a manufacturing company.
• Are certified or have solid knowledge of ISO standards.
• Are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
• Have strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and countries.
• Work in a structured, analytical and proactive manner with problem solving and improvements.
What we can offer you:
You will have a key position in an international company with strong values, where quality, employee safety and environmental responsibility are prioritized as essential parts of running a factory. We offer a full-time position in a professional but unpretentious working environment, where you will have the chance to take initiatives and see them come to fruition.
In addition, you can look forward to:
• A central role with great visibility and close collaboration with the factory's management.
• The opportunity to influence and further develop our integrated management system and EHS work.
• A collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A workplace certified as a Great Place to Work, where well-being and safety are a high priority.
