Job Summary:
As a Senior Analyst in Commercial Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the regional sales leadership across SE Asia, ANZ, North Asia, and India. Acting as the central steward of sales-related data, you will drive sales funnel management, deliver actionable insights through analytics and reporting, and ensure data accuracy and discipline in Salesforce.com. In addition, you will provide essential support to the deal desk function, including proposal development, contract review, and process optimization. This role combines deep sales analytics expertise with hands-on commercial operations support, enabling you to directly influence sales productivity, KPI attainment, and deal execution in a fast-growing team.
You will make an impact in the following way:
Sales Analytics & Funnel Management
- Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce.com across APAC, including system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support to internal users.
- Act as the custodian of sales-related data for APAC, ensuring data integrity and supporting effective funnel management for the APAC Sales Leadership Team:
- Maintain high-quality and accurate funnel data in Salesforce.com across the APAC region.
- Generate insights from funnel analysis to support business performance reviews, planning, and decision-making.
- Develop, publish, and maintain routine sales funnel reports and ad hoc analytical reports at the APAC level, including reporting requirements for US corporate.
- Support the APAC Sales Leadership Team in driving the implementation and adoption of standard sales processes across the region, in close collaboration with Commercial Finance and regional Commercial Operations Analysts.
- Support the APAC Management Team with analysis for annual planning, forecasting, and year-start target setting.
- Derive actionable insights from sales data to identify business issues, determine root causes, and partner with sales teams to track and measure corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including bookings, billings, funnel targets, and quota attainment, and lead or support related APAC and corporate review meetings.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as required.
Deal Desk & Contract Management
- Assist in preparing project proposals for complex opportunities.
- Support the review and drafting of commercial terms in sales agreements, NDAs, and other contracts, working closely with the corporate Legal team.
- Manage the centralized consolidation, organization, and filing of all proposals, bidding documents, and legal agreements in a dedicated database.
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison to document, refine, and optimize sales-related business processes.
What you will bring:
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com is a MUST
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Excel VBA is an advantage
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business analytics, commercial operations, or similar roles.
- Experience in a medium- to large-sized multinational company (electronics/connectivity industry background a plus).
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and management levels.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing commercial terms in sales agreements and contracts.
- Highly organized, responsible, able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally as required.
