Job Summary:
As Regional Senior Tax Analyst, you will be part of the Asia Pacific tax team, supporting regional tax accounting and compliance while contributing to tax planning, structuring and M&A-related initiatives. You will help optimize Belden’s tax position, manage country tax compliance and align regional execution with Belden’s global tax strategy. This role focuses on the company’s tax position across business, compliance and treasury considerations. The successful candidate will apply strong tax concepts and tax accounting knowledge to identify tax risks, evaluate optimization opportunities, and support management decision-making.

We have establishments in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Handle US GAAP tax accounting for Asia Pacific establishments, including tax provision, Pillar Two modelling, cash tax and return-to-provision activities.
- Partner with the accounting team and external tax consultants to manage corporate income tax return filings across APAC.
- Support US international income tax reporting and filing for Asia Pacific establishments.
- Implement Belden Group’s transfer pricing policies; coordinate with external consultants to prepare appropriate transfer pricing documentation for APAC establishments.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives, including group structure rationalization, investment/divestment support, repatriation arrangements, and tax optimization projects across APAC.
- Provide corporate income tax and transfer pricing support to internal functional and business teams within the Belden Group.
- Derive actionable insights from sales data to identify business issues, determine root causes, and partner with sales teams to track and measure corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including bookings, billings, funnel targets, and quota attainment, and lead or support related APAC and corporate review meetings.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as required.
What you will bring:
- University graduate with at least 4 years of relevant tax and/or accounting/auditing experience
- Experience in Big 4 and/or multinational corporations preferred
- Hands-on experience in tax accounting, tax compliance, transfer pricing and tax planning
- Strong knowledge of international tax concepts (e.g., cash repatriation, tax treaties, foreign tax credit, BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two)
- Knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting is an advantage
- Accounting and auditing experience is an advantage
- Strong research, technical and Excel skills
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills; hands-on when needed
- Self-motivated, proven team player; comfortable in a complex business environment
- Structured, organized, attentive to detail; able to manage multiple priorities
