You will make an impact in the following way:
• Lead and manage the vertical consultant group and ensure consistency of delivery towards the sales team, customers and external partners as well as leading the development of solutions that utilize capability of all Belden brands
• Lead and manage the development of solutions that utilize capability of all Belden brands
• Support and drive technical sales and solutions for customer applications by providing the technical leadership influence in assigned vertical market
• Drive Belden bookings growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome-based Solutions to customers managed by Solutions Sales colleagues
• Working with Innovation counterparts to translate customer requirements and problem statements into compelling technical solutions with demonstrable financial value impact
• Collaborate with CIC Solution Support team in development/execution of POCs (Proof of Concepts) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)
• Define scope of services for customer applications in collaboration with the GTS
• Support transition from pre-sales to post-sales
• Maintain competence with Belden industrial products
• Design and support technology campaigns such as webinars, shows, trade fairs, etc.
• Create technical content for marketing materials and collaterals: solutions guide, application notes, “how to” videos, quick start guides, document cases studies
• Provide market feedback to product management teams to drive product development
• Conduct basic and advanced customer technical demonstrations and presentations of Belden solutions
• Travel as required for customer visits and professional development (expected 50% of travel)
What you will bring:
• Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on IT, RCDD- BICSI certification is preferred
• Work experience – 15+ years of experience in solution creation in an enterprise infrastructure environment in hospitality, Stadiums, and datacenter verticals
• Proven track record – In extensive experience in design and delivering horizontal cabling and backbone cabling infrastructure for ICT that supports, data, voice, Wifi, Telephony, Tera , GSM etc in a market and industry relevant to the Belden organization
• Technical know-how – Experience in smart buildings, structured cabling solutions and applications insights (e.g. Hospitality, Stadium and datacenter etc.)
• Demonstrates excellent command of the codes and standards outlined in Division 27 in construction, specifically for communication systems
• Possesses expertise in data center room design, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) considerations.
• Hands on experience with testing and communication equipment like OTDR and OLTS
• Fluency in managing tools like Autocad, Viso, ACIM( Intelligent Cabling ), DCIM
• Communication skills – Ability to translate complex technical information into comprehensible conversation with a non-technical audience
• Language skills – Fluency in English. Arabic would be advantageous.
