Embedded Software Developer

(m/f/d)

Type: Full-Time/Hybrid

Level: Mid-Senior

 

 

You will make an impact in the following way: 

 

  • You develop sophisticated embedded software solutions for industrial wireless and cellular products from driver layer to the device management within an agile team
  • Work closely with the hardware development team, software architects, and multiple vendors to implement a new wireless architecture for future products
  • Specify and create solution and system concepts independently for maximizing the performance and stability of the             products
  • Plan, create and execute automated component and system tests
  • Document the development results and maintain the product throughout the product life-cycle

 

What you will bring: 

 

  • Education – Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
  • Experience – 5+ years experience in developing embedded software networking products (e.g. routers, access points or gateways)
  • Knowledge and skills – You have in-depth expertise in the field of protocol development for wireless communication (Wi-Fi or       cellular), excellent knowledge in C/C++ in conjunction with real-time operating systems, knowledge in test methods and test automation with Python
  • Personality – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work, you excel as a team player, adapt quickly to changing environments and emerging technologies
  • Language proficiency – You are fluent in English and have the ability or willingness to work in a German-speaking team
