El ingeniero de Calidad II se encarga de la aseguranza de la calidad en todos los procesos de Belden. Se encarga de impulsar la mejora continua utilizando herramientas de Calidad, green belt, lean manufacturing, A3 y kaizen. Lidera equipos multidisciplinario en el análisis de la causa raíz con el fin de resolver las áreas de oportunidad presentadas en los procesos e impulsa proyectos de mejora.
Coordina las actividades de los técnicos de calidad, guía a los ingenieros de Calidad I y Jr para el cumplimiento de los procesos establecidos.
Provee soporte en la introducción de nuevo productos y cambios de ingeniería que afecten la calidad de los productos, así como en las auditorías internas y externas correspondientes a las normas ISO 9001, ISO 14000, UL/CSA/ETL.
Se encarga de desarrollar los documentos correspondientes para el cumplimiento de los requisitos de la norma IATF (PPAP, flujos de procesos, PFMEA, Gage R&R, análisis dimensionales, control estadístico de proceso, planes de inspección, estudios de capacidad, etc.)
