We’re Hiring: Marketing Events Specialist EMEA

Do you love creating memorable brand experiences? Are you passionate about the end-to-end planning and execution of events? 

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented event planner to take charge of managing our exhibition booths at trade shows and organizing internal and external meetings and conferences in the EMEA region.

You will make an impact in the following way

• Plan, organize, and coordinate our participation in exhibitions and trade shows.
• Manage the end-to-end booth setup, design coordination, and logistics.
• Ensure our booth stands out and delivers an exceptional brand experience.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and on-site execution.
• Organize internal and external events such as team meetings, conferences and customer seminars.
• Continuously evaluate and improve event processes and efficiencies to deliver consistent, high-quality events and experiences.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance event planning and execution.
• Stay updated on the company's core values and identity, ensuring they are reflected at every touchpoint.
• Handle post-event evaluations and reporting with a focus on measurable outcomes.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English
• Proven experience in event planning, managing exhibition booths and conference organization
• Tech-savy and at ease with martech solutions, from marketing and event management tools to analytics dashboards
• Affinity for content marketing, digital marketing campaigns and branding
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with focus on measurable outcomes and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and external partners
• A keen interest in orchestrating technical demonstrations of cutting-edge connection solutions at our exhibition booths
• Curious about the Belden industries such as energy, transportation, hospitality, data centers, cybersecurity, and warehousing & logistics
• Willingness to travel for events when required
