Solution Architect role within the organization will assess, design, develop, build, and validate network solution designs. With in-depth technology knowledge, the Solution Architect leads the development of solution concepts, architectures, use cases, and best practices across multiple industries and applications.
The Solution Architect contributes to translating technical ideas and market needs into structured solution architectures through a defined process including architecture definition, design documentation, lab validation, and proof-of-concept testing. Innovation and sharing technology insights internally and externally are part of the role.
Principal Job Accountabilities
- Evaluating network architecture and design requirements originating from market needs, internal initiatives, or project requirements.
- Providing guidance and recommendations for both greenfield and brownfield network designs.
- Developing solution architectures and technical concepts based on defined requirements and design objectives.
- Developing standard practices, reference architectures, and common design frameworks for typical use cases.
- Supporting internal teams in the development of technical designs and solution frameworks.
- Documenting and visualizing network architectures in the forms of design prerequisites, topology drawings, reports, configuration procedures, performance metrics, and demonstrations.
- Validating solution designs in lab environments and through proof-of-concept activities, including validation with third-party technologies where required.
- Staying apprised and educated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies that influence future design innovation.
- Sharing technical insights and project feedback with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
- Supporting technical workshops, demonstrations, and internal knowledge sharing activities when required.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking protocols and architectures.
- Strong knowledge of IP and Ethernet networking technologies.
- Experience with IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, and Carrier Ethernet technologies.
- Familiarity with emerging networking technologies such as Segment Routing (SR-MPLS).
- Understanding of network resiliency mechanisms, QoS, traffic engineering, and synchronization.
- Knowledge of network management and monitoring systems (NMS).
- Knowledge of legacy technologies such as TDM, SDH, or SONET is an advantage, particularly in migration scenarios.
- Understanding of network migration strategies from legacy infrastructures to modern packet-based networks.
- Strong technical and commercial awareness.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
