SYSTEM INTEGRATION TEST ENGINEER

You will make an impact in the following way:

• As a test engineer, you work in the test department of the R&D organization. Your main interfaces are the R&D development teams (hardware and software), the service organization (technical support for customers, product training, etc.), and product management.

• As a member of the Test team, you will be joining a highly effective self-organizing agile team that tests and qualifies the XTran system and works together with project and product management, development organizations, and the service organization.

• As a tester, you will be the voice of the customer within the organization and the agile team.

• Defining the test scenarios and using these scenarios to align the focus of the agile team.

• You are responsible for testing the new products and features, improving and extending the automatic tests, supporting and improving our continuous delivery process, and on-site troubleshooting and field upgrades for pilot installations (sporadically).

 

What you will bring:

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering, Master of Information Sciences, or equivalent by experience – Relevant educational background.

• 2 years of relevant experience in IP networking technologies – Practical experience in the field.

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English – Effective communication abilities.

• Dutch language skills desirable – Additional language proficiency.

 

Preferred qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of IP networking technologies – In-depth understanding of networking.

• 5 years of relevant experience in communication networks – Significant professional experience.

• Knowledge of legacy interfaces is an advantage – Familiarity with older technologies.

• Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities in an agile development environment – Strong organizational skills.

• Strong analytical skills – Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Python coding skills – Proficiency in programming.

• Experience in setting up and using automated testing – Hands-on experience with automation.
