Job Summary:
Based in Pune, India, as part of the Belden Technical Support Center, you'll provide top-tier technical support for Belden's Cables & Connectivity across global regions. Responsibilities include serving as the primary technical contact for customers, reviewing technical documents, collaborating internally for issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, 3-6 years of industrial cable experience, and strongcommunication skills.
Responsibilities:
##You shall be a part of the Belden Technical Support Center (based out in Pune, India).##The Belden Technical Support Center is a team of highly responsive technology specialists whose #1 focus is to support the customers for Presales & Post sales. ##You shall be the first point of contact for Belden customers, Sales, and partners all over Americas, EMEA & APAC Belden will depend on you to provide the highest standard of technical support for Cables & Connectivity portfolio of Belden.##You'll have insight on the detailed functionality of Belden products and partner with all distributed elements of the service chain.##You shall be responsible for reviewing RFI/RFQ/RFP and coordinate with Inter-department regional stakeholders to provide accurate and quick solution to the customer. ##You shall be responsible for achieving all metrics for the respective customer/partner, as defined by the management with particular focus on customer satisfaction.##Gather the required information necessary tobest handle customer#s technical inquiries. Resolving the issues through email, phone, chat, and ticketing tool - communication channels. Collaborate with TechnicalSupport team members to properly manage customer inquiries and escalate when appropriate.Document solutions for knowledgebase.##Connect with wide range of people and teams to find the solutions such as Solution Consultants, Product Line Managers, and thevarious Belden plants.##Assist customers with Support Requests and engaging with other Belden Teams ensuring follow up on each request and solution is provided.##Continuous improvement of their professional certification level.##Global mindset: Ability to work effectively across various time zones (Americas, EMEA, APAC)##Should be able to analyze customers layout and prepare an end-to-end BOM for structured cabling, Data Centers, Backbone connectivity. ##Should be application oriented and be able to Pitch in complete solution from cable and connectivity to end customer.
Required Skills and Experience
##Bachelor#s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering.##Minimum 3-6 years working experience on Industrial cables and accessories.##You should have a basic understanding of industrial cables design principles, EN, IEC, UL standards, certification.##You should be able to review, identify, interpreting customer spec/requirements and bill of materials (BOM) for new inquiry, and proposing corresponding part numbers or obtain key parameters per spec requirement and translate them for engineering / R&D to assess and design.##Compile and coordinate on technical documentations per customer format and requirement, like product drawings, datasheet, inspection test plans (ITP), 3rd party testing, compliance certificate, etc. for tenders. ##Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.##Excellent Customer Service Orientation.##Strong attention to detail when communicating with customers (verbal & written).
