Job Summary:

Belden is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP MES Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP MES solutions to optimize manufacturing processes andenhance operational efficiency. The SAP MES Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure SAP MES modules and/or applications and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless operations.


What you will do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP MES solutions.
  • Work in conjunction with external systems integrators and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP MES modules and/or other MES applications to meet business needs, including Production Planning, Quality Management, Shop Floor Control, Plant Maintenance and Performance Analysis.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test plans and user manuals.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance tuning to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP MES technologies and recommend process improvements and enhancements.

 

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of SAP ECC & S/4 experience with shop floor control, production planning, inventory management and supporting master data.
  • 5+ years of experience in MES implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Proficiency in MES software platforms such as Rockwell Software, Advaris or similar.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management and inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in handling PLC, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading MES implementations, including project planning, system configuration, and user training.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control IT initiatives within budget and timeline.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
