Job Summary

Partner Account Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of sales volume at the Belden authorized channel, to include distribution, System Integrators and other channels employed by the Belden go-to-market.

This position will report to the Partner Sales Director.

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Develop and execute channel strategies that accelerate growth of Belden’s industrial networking, connectivity, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Partner closely with Country Managers to align regional channel initiatives with local business priorities, ensuring coordinated execution and shared accountability for growth.
  • Build, expand, and manage a high-performance ecosystem of distributors, system integrators, and value-added resellers aligned with Belden’s strategic vertical markets.
  • Lead joint business planning with key partners, establishing shared revenue goals, pipeline development plans, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of Belden solutions by enabling partners through structured training, certifications, and technical-commercial programs.
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership on channel performance, market trends, and competitive positioning within industrial and enterprise environments.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance, pipeline health, and compliance with Belden channel programs.
  • Support partners in maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring successful introduction of new Belden technologies and product lines.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and marketing teams to execute demand generation initiatives and partner-led customer engagement activities.
  • Identify white space opportunities and recruit new partners to expand Belden’s footprint in targeted industries and geographies.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, rebate programs, and growth incentives to drive mutual profitability and long-term collaboration.
  • Manage partner financial exposure, including accounts receivable and credit risk, to maintain healthy and sustainable channel operations.
  • Proactively resolve channel conflicts while preserving trust, transparency, and long-term ecosystem stability.
  • Evaluate partners based on financial strength, technical capabilities, industry expertise, and strategic alignment with Belden’s portfolio.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and strategic partner development objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in related channel sales.
  • Markets – Good understanding building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle and proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with channel partners, system integrators and other decision makers
  • Customers Define our SuccessResults-oriented with an organized and focused mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong ownership & accountability. Should be able to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners is required
