Job Summary:


The Strategic Financial Analyst, Planning & Digital Strategy helps shape the future of finance at Belden by combining financial planning expertise with digital innovation. In this role, you will partner with Finance and Digital teams to develop and implement AI-powered tools that improve forecasting, reporting, decision-making, and operational efficiency. You will also support adoption efforts to ensure new solutions deliver measurable business value.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with Finance, Digital, and IT teams to develop and implement AI and automation solutions that improve finance processes and decision-making.
  • Support financial planning activities, including forecasting, strategic planning, capital expenditure tracking, financial reporting, and business case development.
  • Serve as a liaison between finance and technical teams by translating business needs into actionable requirements and communicating technical solutions in business terms.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools through training, change management, performance tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analyze results, measure value realization, and provide recommendations that support finance transformation and business growth.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, finance operations, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interest in digital technologies, automation, and AI-driven business solutions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with data visualization, automation, or AI tools.
  • Knowledge of business systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, process improvement, or change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000 to $130,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
