Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the release of processes and final product by applying established quality procedures and criteria. The role seeks continuous improvement through the use and application of quality and statistical tools to improve production processes to meet the quality objectives established by the organization. The position will contribute to improvement ideas for processes and quality. It will also provide timely support to production areas to ensure that the production process does not stop. The role participates with the multidisciplinary team in root cause analysis to resolve areas of opportunity identified in the process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training to production personnel on quality criteria, quality alerts, and process alerts.
- Participate in the maintenance and follow-up of the Lean system in the assigned area, as well as in Kaizen events.
- Conduct validation testing for new products and engineering changes that affect product quality, as well as support internal and external audits related to ISO 9001, IATF, ISO 14000, and UL/CSA/ETL standards.
- Schedule production, print shop orders, reviewing material availability and place POs accordingly.
- Work as a team member to determine capacity and customer priorities.
- Applying established procedures for product release, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Contributing improvement and prevention ideas that help improve quality and on-time delivery.
- Proposing and executing projects that help achieve organizational objectives.
- Promoting quality at all levels of the organization through improvement of the company’s Quality Management System.
- Providing necessary and required support to production process areas.
- Ownership of KPI Board
- Performing all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma completed
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control and criteria preferred
- Experience in planning preferred
- Experience in process and product auditing
- Experience in dimensional testing and quality requirements
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Fluent in English and ability to understand basic Spanish
- Basic knowledge of Lean tools – KPIs, Gemba, 5S, Kaizen
- MS Office. Excel intermediate knowledge
- Use of measurement and electrical testing equipment

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of ($21.00-$27.00 an hour), plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
