Job Summary

Our bilingual HR Assistant will support core HR functions including payroll, recruiting, and employee experience. This role will be onsite in our Tucson Distribution Center and will report to the remote HR Manager, with a dotted line to the site leader. This is a salaried non-exempt position for 40 hours a week. Hours will be 8am to 4:30pm 4 days a week, and 5am to 1:30pm at least 1 day a week (to overlap with 3rd shift). Pay range is $47,840 - $54,080 annually (depending on experience).

 

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Manage payroll by approving hours, maintaining system accuracy, and answering employee questions.
  • Own day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, attendance and disciplinary tracking, PTO tracking, policy compliance, training, special projects, and planning of special events.
  • Drive improvement of employee communication by presenting in weekly All Hands and consistently updating all communications materials.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting by posting job openings, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
  • Support employee relations by maintaining documentation, assisting with information gathering, and escalating to senior HR staff.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, HR records/documentation, and SAP/ ADP data while maintaining confidentiality and personal integrity. Perform periodic audits as needed.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for policies, benefits, hiring, and other related topics while escalating complex matters to senior HR staff or management as appropriate.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

 

What you will bring:

  • Education – Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience – 3+ years’ experience in HR preferred
  • Knowledge – Employment law, Microsoft Office, and HRIS platforms (SAP or ADP)
  • Language Skills – Fluent in English and Spanish required
