Generalist, People - Commercial

As a Generalist, People – Commercial, you serve as the connective link between people and the business. In this role, you act as a trusted and proactive partner to our Commercial teams—including Solution Sales, Partner Sales, Solution Consulting, and Commercial Operations—across Belgium and the Middle East (UAE and Saudi Arabia). You contribute to the sustainable development of teams, processes, and ways of working in a fast‑moving commercial environment. You are responsible for the full employee lifecycle for the Commercial organization and play a key role in implementing global People & Strategy programs and initiatives at the local and regional level.
You will make an impact in the following way:

Act as the dedicated People & Strategy partner for our Commercial teams in Belgium and the Middle East, supporting workforce planning, team development and organizational changes.

Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, engagement, and offboarding.

Coordinate and ensure timely input for monthly payroll in collaboration with the payroll team, including time and attendance reporting

Support recruitment efforts for commercial roles across the region, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and collaboration with hiring managers

Drive execution of key People & Strategy processes such as performance management, talent management, and annual compensation cycles within the Commercial function

Facilitate employee engagement and culture-building initiatives tailored to a commercial environment

Collaborate with global People & Strategy and business stakeholders to implement initiatives such as Be Well, DEI programs, and employee development

Provide guidance on labor law, People & Strategy policies, and compliance matters
What you should bring:
- Education – Degree in Business Administration with focus on Human Resources or comparable training
- Experience – Several years of experience as HR Generalist, preferably in an international matrix environment
- Knowledge and skills – experience to labor law in Belgium, experience with labor law in UAE and Saudi Arabia is a plus

Communication - you possess strong communication skills; you navigate easily across different levels of the organization and know how to bring people together

Personality - You are curious, flexible, and growth-oriented – both for yourself and for the organization; you are structured, hands-on and solution-oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Language proficiency – Fluent in English, good knowledge of Arabic, French or Dutch are advantageous
