Team Lead Technical Support

(m/f/d)

Place: EMEA remote

Type: Full-Time/Hybrid

Level: Senior

 

You will make an impact in the following way: 

  • Shape and advance the global and regional support strategy
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers worldwide
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for internal teams and partners
  • Advise new and existing customers on Belden products (Wired/Wireless/ Security/IO & Protocols)
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to improve products
  • Optimize support processes and Help Desk systems for efficiency and scalability
  • Lead and develop your team: task allocation, motivation, and recruiting

 

What you will bring: 

  • Education – Degree in Computer Science, IT, Communication Engineering or equivalent experience with networking certifications
  • Experience – 10+ years in technical customer support or project management, 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge & skills – Industrial Ethernet (wired and wireless), Communication Protocols (e.g., HSR, MRP, PRP, RSTP, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP), Troubleshooting, VLANs and Subnetting, Network Security, Monitoring and Diagnostics as well as Technical Support Management, Escalation Handling, Performance Monitoring, Mentoring and Coaching, Workflow Coordination, Resource Allocation, Conflict Resolution, Cross-Functional Communication, Service Quality Assurance, Process Improvement
  • Personality – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, assertiveness, team-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial attitude with high self-motivation and resilience, intercultural competence, adaptability in multicultural environments, openness and respect for diverse perspectives
  • Willingness to travel – Occasionally internationally
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English
