Job Summary:
ProSoft is seeking a Hardware Engineering Project Manager to join our Bakersfield R&D team. The person will be responsible for maintaining current products, including Environmental Compliance and Certification Compliance, ESG reporting and improvements, and new BOM creation and updates. They will also handle new product introduction to Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Understand environmental compliance and certification requirements.
- Work with others to manage and execute required tests and manage delivery of test results and certifications.
- Will work with other Belden engineers to both understand changing requirements and plan any testing activities.
- Use SiliconExpert to keep track of RoHS, REACH, availability, etc. Prepare Declaration of Conformance documentation
- Respond to internal and external queries for additional compliance and certifications
- Participate in Belden ESG initiative with the purchasing organization by providing metric information, auditing suppliers, Help gather information from suppliers to respond to other ESG inquiries.
- Use PLM system to create product Bill of Materials (BOMs), vendors and vendor part numbers, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), alternate parts and other functions
- Update SAP EHSM as needed
- Work with Operations to prepare them for new products
Required Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience (at least 3 years) in the management of compliance projects
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Well-organized and capable of taking requirements to completion for Compliance projects
- At least 5 years of experience handling compliance statements, such as for PFAS, CMRT, REACH, RoHS
- Experience with Silicon Expert
- Experience with PLM systems, preferably Omnify and SAP
- Experience preparing policy letters
- Experience interacting with suppliers
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400 - $152,100, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
