IT System Administrator

(m/f/d)

Place: Berlin

Type: Full-Time/Hybrid

Level: Entry-level/Junior

 

 

 

You will make an impact in the following way:

 

  • Handles IT Help Desk administration including tracking and assigning tasks,and phone administration
  • Assists all users to locate and execute IT resources, in order for users to work productively
  • Creates and updates all written IT procedures, tasks, and network diagrams.
  • Provides Help Desk Administration and PC Support
  • Provides on-site support for users associated with PC/Laptop problems along with printers, copiers, fax machines, iPhones, VPN.
  • Coordinates with cable vendors for new cable runs, and WiFi AP placement.
  • Handles all administrative tasks associated with IT Department to include but not limited to; quotes, requisitions, and Asset Management.
  • Controls IT inventory to support current and future IT users.
  • Configures, tests and baselines all new Laptops and related equipment including but not limited to printers, cameras, iPhones and iPad devices
  • Works with external vendors on large scale projects and management
  • Works with other Belden IT team members to support the local organization
  • Provides hands on support for firewall, AP, and switch configuration

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or comparable vocational IT training
  • Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience in a support desk role or other relevant experience in an IT related role
  • Personality – Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments, proactive, organized, and capable of both independent work and team collaboration
  • Language proficiency – Fluent in German and English
