Procurement Team Leader

(m/f/d)

Place: Berlin Mariendorf

Type: Full-Time/Onsite

Level: Senior

 

 

You will make an impact in the following way:

 

  • You lead, mentor, and develop your team
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company's overall supply chain objectives
  • Manage and optimize the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, goods, and services
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, Quality, and Engineering, to meet business needs
  • Utilize SAP to manage procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier data, and inventory management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate terms and contracts to achieve cost savings and value
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Experience – Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
  • Knowledge & tools – Extensive experience with SAP (MM module preferred) and proficiency in using it for procurement management
  • Personality – Strong leadership and team management skills, coupled with excellent negotiation and communication abilities, and a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in German and English
