Job Summary:

Reporting to the Finance Manager of Germany, the role of the accountant is to effectively manage the day-to-day running of all accounting activities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of accounting and executive reporting related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organised, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

You will make an impact in the following way:

      Financial Reporting:

• Month end close procedures
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable

      Payroll:

• Submit completed payroll to Payroll service providers

      Cashflow:

• Produce a rolling 8-week cash flow forecast
• Updating Short term cash flow daily

      Statutory Audits:

• Be the lead contact for the site in relation to statutory and financial audits

What you will bring:

• Demonstrable experience in budget management and payroll administration
• People Management experience, will have direct reports
• Proven track record of working in a Finance services role
• A good level of Maths and English is important
• Must be discrete and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
