Launch is an innovative, cohort-based professional development program designed to help high achieving college grads jump start their careers. When you participate in Belden’s Launch Early Career Leadership Program, you’ll be part of a team participating in real-world, challenging, interactive, and action-based learning curriculum, developing your skills on the job. You’ll earn valuable experience over three 12-month rotations through different areas of the business.   

 

As a member of our Launch Program Class of 2029, you’ll be fully immersed with a global team of IT experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You’ll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates from the inside and develop functional and leadership skills that will set a solid foundation for the rest of your career.

We offer opportunities to work in our facilities in Indianapolis, IN and Richmond, IN.  

 

Potential rotations could include: 

 

IT Infrastructure 

LAN 

  • Learn about the buildout of facilities and infrastructure
  • Develop switch basics 

  

WAN 

  • Understand network monitoring review and automation
  • Learn about network segmentation 

 

Servers & Data Centers 

  • Learn about server specifications, acquisition, installation and configuration
  • Learn VMware basics 
 

IT Applications 

Business Analyst: Sales Operations 

  • Obtain SQL query and tools training
  • Learn about sales operations reporting 

 

Business Analyst: Dashboard Analytics 

  • BI architecture, database
  • Business objectives and data services 

  

Business Analyst: Web Projects 

  • Learn about CRM management
  • Gain exposure to system architecture and overview

A successful IT Launch Program participant will bring: 

 

  • Passion – enthusiasm, initiative, and excitement to take on new challenges and solve for tomorrow’s problems

  • Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Technology, or related fields of study 

  • Experience – you have some previous related experience and skills in data analysis, technical writing, and programming 

  • Intellectual Curiosity – analytical, determined, detail-oriented, and adaptable with strong communication and relationship building abilities
