Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced senior analyst with expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling processes, and a proven track record of working with SAP S/4, ECC and integration from legacy ERP systems. As a senior analyst of Finance and Controlling (FICO), you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing technology solutions related to the end-to-end Finance to Manage process within SAP environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and other IT units and 3rd party systems to support day-to-day operations successfully.

Responsibilities:

  • SAP FI/CO: Provide ongoing support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including issue resolution, user assistance, process monitoring, and coordination with integrated third-party systems. Support includes configuration updates, user queries, and performance tuning to ensure system stability and efficiency.
  • Central Finance Support: Understand and support integration solutions between SAP S/4 and other systems using Central Finance.
  • Requirements & Enhancements Support: Partner with stakeholders to gather evolving business needs, assess change requests, translate them into functional requirements and work with technical teams. Provide ongoing support for enhancements, ensuring alignment with finance and controlling business processes.
  • Data Integrity & Integration Support: Support data validation and reconciliation activities related to Finance and Controlling. Maintain and troubleshoot integration points between SAP and legacy or third-party systems via Central Finance, ensuring data accuracy and process continuity.
  • Reporting and Analytics Support: Maintain and enhance financial reporting capabilities using SAP S/4 embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and other BI tools. Provide support for report development, issue resolution, and business insights.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in regression testing, patch validations, and change impact assessments. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles and maintain quality assurance practices for Finance and Controlling functionalities.
  • Change Management & Training: Support change management efforts by assisting with user training, maintaining training materials, and facilitating ongoing user adoption. Serve as a point of contact for end-user support and feedback, helping ensure a smooth transition and continued system optimization.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in IT, with a strong focus on technology solutions for FICO functions and hands-on experience with different SAP S/4 FICO core modules using Fiori as front end as well as ECC GUI environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Finance processes within SAP, including functions such as General Ledger with Central Finance integration, Payable and Receivables Accounts, Indirect Taxes, Credit Management, Cash Application, Electronic Bank Statement and integration with Tax Engines, Fixed Assets, Controlling, Cost & Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Month end Closing and integration with SD/MM/PP modules.
  • Proven track record of experience in SAP implementations and/or support, specifically in the Finance and Controlling domain, including planning, data migration, system configuration, and user training.
  • Familiarity with legacy ERP systems and experience in migrating to SAP S/4, with a specific emphasis on GL migration, preferably using cFIN.
  • Strong understanding of IT cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies relevant to Finance functions and SAP ECC and S/4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including sales, customer service, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP modules FI, CO, AR, AP, Banking, Taxes and integration with SD and MM. Preferred experience in Central Finance and integrations with applications like High Radius and Vertex.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial data integration issues and drive process improvements.
  • Professional certifications such as SAP certifications, specifically in FI/CO, and relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) and SAP cFIN are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results within deadlines.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of  $101,400-$152,100 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
