Summary

 

This position will oversee Channel Marketing programs within the Americas and be responsible for developing marketing strategies and executing programs to increase brand awareness and generate demand for Belden’s full suite of products, solutions and services with our distributor partners and their customers. As an individual contributor, the ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead cross-functional projects in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and other functions to successfully execute all programs.

 

Distributor Marketing Responsibilities

 

  • Create and maintain multiple marketing strategies across key partners and programs.
  • Collaborate with Channel Sales management to execute marketing campaigns, develop sales enablement tools, and grow business with key partners.
  • Define co-op marketing initiatives and work with Belden Channel Sales Managers on development, implementation, and monitoring of funds to remain in budget
  • Engage and foster relationships with marketing contacts at partners to develop and promote messaging, marketing collateral, and programs unique to each partner’s needs.
  • Conduct on-site visits to partners as needed to understand their business needs.
  • Manage Americas Partner Portal content, communication, users, and reporting through collaboration with the Digital Transformation and Partner Programs teams.
  • Collaborate with the Events and Experience Team to plan Channel events
  • Be an audience champion on behalf of distributor accounts to internal stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong written and oral communication, listening, persuasive, and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong experience leading large cross-functional projects with many stakeholders and hard deadlines
  • Ability to operate under ambiguity
  • Ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional teams
  • Solid business and marketing acumen, creativity, and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel 5% or more
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with 1-2 years of channel experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a similar field.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000 - $105,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
