Job Summary

As the Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a key strategic and hands-on role in supporting all financial and accounting activities for the facility. As a critical partner to plant leadership, you will provide financial insights and analysis to help guide operational decisions and promote accountability. This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the performance of one of Belden’s most recognized brands. The role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Finance Operations, with a dotted-line relationship to the Plant Manager, and is based on site at our Carson, CA facility. 

 

What you will do

  • Coordinating AP invoices for processing.
  • Managing the daily cycle program.
  • Preparing and presenting the Weekly Flash Report (forecasting and budgeting) as well as submitting the weekly plant scorecard.
  • Preparing and processing all necessary month end journal entries.
  • Handling all accounting and financial activities for the plant, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in reporting financial information.

 

What you will bring

  • Education/Experience- Bachelors degree within accounting field & 2+ years of cost accounting or finance experience 
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in addition to a high level of integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Competitive nature, a drive for success, and a focus on continuous improvement

 

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $74,600-$112,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
