Job Summary:

 

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory and purchasing materials under the direction of the Materials Manager. This individual also maintains the Production Order System and prepares the Shop Order packets. This position will work onsite from our Carson, CA facility and is paid on a salaried non-exempt basis, typical work week is 40 hours, pay range is $22-$25.25 per hour, depending on experience.

 

You will make an Impact in the following way:

 

  • Monitor inventory level and customer demand for raw materials, place purchase orders when needed, and email or call suppliers to manage the orders.
  • Process, create and maintain Shop Order packets based on customer demand and maintain the shop floor control accuracy within the ERP System.
  • Lead cycle counts program that includes posting results into ERP, Production Planning Controls, and Material Handling on an as needed basis.
  • Complete the inventory transaction reconciliation process.

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree is a plus.
  • Experience - 3 or more years of experience in Inventory Control, Warehousing, and Purchasing
  • Knowledge - Cycle Counting and Inventory Control principals, Purchasing and Planning experience
  • Skills - Experience with an ERP System (AS4000, SAP, Oracle, etc.), Basic computer skills such as Excel, Word, and Outlook

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of ($45,760 – $52,520), plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
