Job Summary

Are you ready to take ownership of financial leadership at the plant level and be a driving force behind operational excellence? Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, is looking for a passionate and results-driven Plant Controller to join our Alpha Wire team in Carson, CA.

 

As the Plant Controller, you’ll play a key strategic and hands-on role in managing all financial and accounting activities for the facility. You will be a vital business partner to plant leadership, leveraging financial insights to guide operational decisions and ensure accountability. This is a high-impact position offering visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to directly influence the success of one of Belden’s most recognized brands. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Finance Operations with a dotted line to the Plant Manager and will work onsite from our Carson, CA facility. 

 

What you will do

  • Coordinating AP invoices for processing.
  • Managing the daily cycle program.
  • Preparing and presenting the Weekly Flash Report (forecasting and budgeting) as well as submitting the weekly plant scorecard.
  • Preparing and processing all necessary month end journal entries.
  • Handling all accounting and financial activities for the plant, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in reporting financial information.

 

What you will bring

  • Education/Experience- 4-year undergraduate degree within accounting field & 3+ years of cost accounting experience
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in addition to a high level of integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Competitive nature, a drive for success, and a focus on continuous improvement

 

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $85,200-$127,800, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
