Job Summary:
Belden is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team full-time in the Chicago office. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting and optimizing the global collaboration tools that connect our teams worldwide. You'll be involved in daily planning, scheduling, tracking, and executing both project tasks and ongoing operations—helping to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the strategic direction and architecture of Collaboration Services. The Collaboration technology includes: Microsoft M365 solutions(Exchange/Teams/OneDrive/Intune/EntraID), HP/Poly Video Conferencing, Avaya telephony systems, wireless presentation systems, and digital signage systems.
- Lead and support Collaboration projects and programs to achieve the strategic goals.
- Provide technical support as it relates to all Collaboration Services.
- Investigate, resolve and communicate with the customer on escalated Service Desk tickets.
- Pro-actively manage and maintain all Collaboration solutions and systems, including:
- Security/service patch management and required upgrades following approved change management process
- Database and solutions optimization
- Back-up and disaster recovery
- Monitor team KPI/TTI measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain both technical and customer documentation for standards, processes and procedures.
- Position will also be primary support for Audio/Video technology used within the Office. This includes:
- HP/Poly video conferencing technology
- Mersive wireless sharing systems
- Crestron and Extron systems
- Shure Microphone systems
- Video Wall solutions
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years IT experience with collaboration solutions.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion to exceed customer expectations.
- Mature skills and approach when working with production systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with administration and support of Microsoft 365 Solutions from design of the architecture through to implementation.
- Ability to write PowerShell scripts to be used in automating and simplifying administrative tasks.
- Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence peers and cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and issues in a concise manner to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable presenting to and supporting senior leadership.
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400-$152,100 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
