Job Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for the accuracy of component inventory through the verification of materials delivered versus the packing list.  The Material Handler will support the flow of materials for outside processing.

 

Regular work schedule will reflect Monday – Friday 8am –4:30pm.

 

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $16.50 - $17.50 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

 

You will make a difference in the following ways:

  1. Tracks component inventory levels and verifies material delivered against shipment packing list, identifying any discrepancies. 
  2. Inputs and maintains accurate transactions in SAP.
  3. Locates received materials in the warehouse as required.
  4. Picks and puts assembly orders together as needed to support the production plan.
  5. Fulfils in-house requisitions and delivers materials to proper areas.
  6. Keeps accurate inventory records, performs cycle counts, and completes scrap transactions and goods movements. 
  7. Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations.
  8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

What you bring:

  • Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge: Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions. Strong organizational skills. Basic mathematical skills. Computer literacy.
  • Special Skills: Forklift License an OSHA Certification a plus.
  • Customers Define Our Success: Provide support to the production floor, answer equipment repair and trouble-shooting requests to eliminate machine downtime and ensure continuous production.
