Job Summary:

To be part of the Asia Pacific tax team and engage in various tax planning, structuring, M&A and corporate income tax compliance initiatives. Manage tax accounting, formulate and implement regional tax strategy in line with global tax strategy, optimize the tax position, manage country tax compliance and enhance the access to capital for Asia Pacific.



Responsibilities:
  • Handling US GAAP tax accounting for Asia Pacific establishments such as tax provision, Pillar Two modelling, cash tax and return-to-provision.
  • Working closely with the accounting team and external tax consultant for corporate income tax return filing for establishments in Asia Pacific.
  • Supporting US International Income Tax reporting and filing for Asia Pacific establishments.
  • Implementing Belden Group#s transfer pricing policies and working closely with external tax consultant for preparation of proper transfer pricing documentation for Asia Pacificestablishments.
  • Assisting the formulation and implementation of tax planning initiatives, including group structure rationalization, investment/ divestment and fund repatriation arrangement, tax optimization projects, etc in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Providing support from corporate income tax and transfer pricing perspectives to different functional and business teams within the Belden Group.


Required Skills and Experience
  • University graduate with at least 4 years tax related working experience, preferable in Big 4 accounting firms and/or multinational corporations Specific Functional/Technical Knowledge
  • Hands-on experience in tax compliance, transferpricing and tax planning
  • Strong knowledge of international tax concepts, such as cash repatriation, tax treaty, foreign tax credit, BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two ##Knowledge in tax accounting for US GAAP is an advantage
  • Strong research and technical skills##Good written and oral communication skills in English and ChineseCompetencies
  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills and willingness to take a hands-on approach, as necessary
  • Self-motivating, proven team player and is used to working in a complex business environment
  • Structured, organized individual who is capable of handling multiple tasks and is attentive to detail
