Job Summary:
Belden is looking for an experienced and motivated Global IT SAP Application Support Leader to join its team. The role will oversee a team of IT professionals dedicated to providing exceptional support and maintenance for the SAP ERP ECC and S4Hana Rise platform and the SAP HCM ECC and SuccessFactors landscapes and associated systems. This role requires a solid understanding of SAP technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage and provide guidance, subject matter expertise, and direction to the SAP Basis Administrators, IT SAP Support Analysts, and Business Functions, ensuring adherence to change management processes, who are located throughout the world, including an in-house India based captive center.
What you will do
- Manage the daily operations of the IT SAP ERP and HCM platforms and integration services, ensuring timely and quality service delivery to internal and external customers.
- Manage and support the SAP landscape, including ERP, ECC, S4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and Fiori system environments.
- Implement, install, and provide ongoing support for SAP systems.
- Collaborate with global teams to address critical business issues, resulting in data fixes, software defect corrections, performance improvements, etc.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for SAP system support, ensuring quality through best practice SAP technologies.
- Work closely with SAP Functional Analysts and business owners to understand requirements and deliver solutions that support the ongoing IT and Business Strategy.
- Oversee and guide contracted technical consultants for larger initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a global team of IT SAP analysts, providing feedback and performancereviews.
- Monitor and report on service level agreements, key performance indicators, and relative team projects in Global IT Operations meetings.
- Implement and maintain IT SAP policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with all Global IT standards.
- Analyze and report on IT SAP performance, trends, and issues, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT SAP Application Supportobjectives and expectations in a global corporation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT SAP Support staff and customers, escalating complex or urgent issues as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide training and awareness to IT SAP staff and customers.
- Support Senior Leadership Team members at various events throughout the US as well as with any IT needs.
What you will bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT SAP Application Support management, preferably in a large and complex Global IT environment.
- Experience with SAP ERP ECC &S4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors and Fiori - S4Hana experience is mandatory.
- Strong technical skills and functional knowledge of the SAP ERP and HCM platform in areas such as Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Order to Cash, and Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing ITSAP Application support team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, with the ability to adhere to IT standards and policies.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and handle changing demands and expectations.
- Experience managingan offshore application support team and working with multiple time zones and geographies.
