Belden’s HR Internship offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over 12 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience creating real business solutions while developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge.

 

As a member of our 2025 Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed with a global team of HR experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced, project-based internship positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves personally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You’ll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders. We offer opportunities to work in our offices in Indianapolis, IN.

 

How you can add value within the HR function:

  • Review HR benefits library and employee engagement plans and suggest changes and updates
  • Assist in creation and roll-out of new programs and policies
  • Develop standardized processes and training materials associated with new processes
  • Contribute to the review, grading, and benchmarking of new job descriptions
  • Support the roll-out and implementation of new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives

Belden offers company-paid housing for the duration of the internship, reimbursement for travel costs associated with relocating to Belden from the university at the start of the internship, and from Belden to the university at the end of the internship; and a work culture which includes commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability.

 

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $23-36/hour and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
