Job Summary:

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Industrial Cable Solutions Data Acquisition and Transmission (DAT) Americas Team. This position entails providing essential monthly and quarterly analysis for FP&A reporting, contributing to budgeting processes, facilitating month-end closing activities, and regularly publishing sales reports and other financial analyses as needed by the business. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will actively participate in the annual operating planning process and conduct strategic analyses for senior management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.Monthly and Quarterly Forecasts for 2 DAT AMER Business Segments: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for revenue and gross margin within the two DAT AMER Business Segments. Collaborate closely with business leaders across the organization to gain insights into their operations and anticipate the financial implications of various activities.

2.Business Reviews and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of performance metrics such as Channel performance, Gross Margin, and Operating Expenses. Generate insightful reporting, draw meaningful conclusions, and offer actionable recommendations based on the analysis. Provide stakeholders with comprehensive information on performance, key business drivers, and areas of opportunity or concern.

3.Collaboration and Alignment: Work collaboratively with Finance and other functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability across the organization. Provide finance analytical support to various business units, ensuring they receive the necessary insights to drive informed decision-making.

4. Ad-hoc Assignments and Projects: Undertake additional ad-hoc assignments and projects as requested by the finance team, contributing to the overall success of financial operations and strategic initiatives.

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis Experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong Business Acumen; understand and explains reasoning for decisions/ business recommendations
  • Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with Hyperion, BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Self-starter of analysis upon business needs
