Job Summary
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for evaluating and translating data to influence stakeholders. This is a role that requires an individual with a strong balance of reporting technology knowledge and communication skills. This role will have the capacity to partake in special projects and ensure efficacy of accuracy with data retrieval and modeling/manipulation.
What you will do
- Analyze pricing data and communicate results with audience in mind
- Proactively monitor and illustrate changes in data trends in regard to pricing strategy
- Partner with pricing teams, sales, product management, and finance to use data to develop pricing strategies across Belden
- Participate in the RFP exception process to maximize profits
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a data steward, pricing analyst, or master data management role.
- Strong understanding of pricing principles and financial impact.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, pricing tools (PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant), and data management platforms.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments and influence best practices.
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $63,000-$90,100 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
