Global Product Compliance Manager

(m/f/d)

You will make an impact in the following way: 

 

  • Lead global Product Compliance initiatives, including lifecycle assessments, environmental declarations, and Scope 3 reporting
  • Address ESG and product compliance (e.g., PFAS, RoHS, REACH)
  • Support the development of standards for the business units to align with global codesign and materials/substances restriction laws.
  • Educate business functional teams including product management, engineering, and supply chain on ecodesign and material/substance restriction standards by developing and delivering training sessions, webinars, and in-person meetings
  • Manage product testing programs and ecolabeling
  • Support new product development with technical interpretation of requirements
  • Implement processes communication strategies and resolve complex challenges
  • Identify improvement opportunities

 

 

What you will bring: 

 

  • Education – University degree in engineering or comparable training
  • Experience – Over 10 years of engineering/technology experience, including 3+ years in technical regulations and standards or 5+ years in electrical/electronic product design, with 2 years of product environmental compliance or sustainability as a plus
  • Skills and knowledge – Extensive knowledge of global environmental legislation (e.g., REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS), sustainability practices (e.g., LCAs, EPDs, carbon footprints, green packaging, ecodesign), combined with strong product development/management expertise, supply chain understanding, and familiarity with manufacturing processes
  • Personality – Highly effective communicator across all organizational levels and multicultural settings, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex situations, seek advice when necessary, and provide clear, concise guidance to others
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English
