You will make an impact in the following way: 

 

  • Lead global hardware design innovation
  • Create advanced architectures, prototypes, and performance evaluations for automation and infrastructure solutions
  • Execute strategic feasibility studies, assess emerging technologies, scalability, and manufacturability
  • Represent technology leadership, participate in industry forums, promote Belden’s capabilities, and advance thought leadership

 

 

What you will bring: 

 

  • Education – Master's or PhD degree in communication technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Professional experience – Senior profile with the ability to align hardware design with broader technological strategy
  • Technical expertise – Strong: ASIC/CPU-based systems, high-speed interfaces, industrial power electronics, Altium designer, intermediate: EMC/EMI, test equipment, FPGA design, HW reliability, basic: Optics, industrial protocols, RF design, product industrialization, project management
  • Personality – Outstanding communication skill, collaborative approach, proactive in discovering and monitoring tech trends, innovative problem-solving skills, strategic thinking
  • Ability to travel – Occasionally internationally
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English, additional major European languages are advantageous
