Product Owner

Type: Full-Time/Hybrid

Level: Mid-Senior

 

 

You will make an impact in the following way: 

 

  • You manage the teams and partners for the development of our product portfolio of IO safety in order to meet timeline, cost, and quality of the product under development
  • Plan the efforts for the portfolio and the related cost for a longer time period (per month, per year, for the next 3-5 years)
  • Identify gaps in the supplier landscape or expertise, and negotiate supplier contracts
  • Contribute to the solution strategy in which the product portfolio will be embedded, and derive the requirements for that portfolio
  • Are responsible for the architecture and the work split negotiated between different R&D parties

 

 

What you will bring: 

 

  • Education – Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree
  • Several years of experience – In functional safety for industrial automation
  • Knowledge and skills – Proficiency in the relevant certifications and regulations, deep expertise around SW and HW architecture and concepts related to functional safety in the relevant product portfolio
  • Personality – Strong management skills for partner management, as well as proficiency in certifiable processes within agile practices, open minded with an interest in exploring new fields, ability to deal with uncertainty
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English and German
