Job Summary:

 

You are working as an embedded software developer (m/f/d) in an agile development team for routers and switches with a focus on the initial operation of hardware.

 


Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Develop sophisticatedembedded software solutions for industrial switches and routers.
  • Plan and implement product increments and bring up the hardware within an agile software development team.
  • Coordinate team activities and work closely with other software development teams, departments, and product owners to seamlessly integrate new devices into an existing software platform.
  • Plan, develop, and execute automated component and system tests.##Document your development results and maintain the product throughoutits entire lifecycle.
  • Communication with other departments, external development partners, and customers. ##Continuously improve development processes and tools, and share your knowledge within the team and department.

 


Required Skills and Experience

 

 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing embedded software products with in-depth expertise in the initial operation of hardware components such as flash, I2C, SPI, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ in conjunction with real-time operating systems.
  • Knowledge of VHDL and CPLD programming is desirable.
  • Curiosity combined with a team-player mentality, creativity, diligence, as well as strong interpersonal and intercultural competency.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and the ability and willingness to work in German-speaking teams.
