Job Summary:

SR. MGR DEVELOPMENT OF ETHERNET PRODUCTS AND ELECTRONICS EXCELLENCE

• You lead interdisciplinary development team(s) for Industrial Ethernet switches/routers at the Neckartenzlingen location
• You shape individual personnel development and the composition of our interdisciplinary agile product development teams
• You cooperate with other international development locations (e.g. within the framework of so-called Circles of Excellence)

Responsibilities:

• You ensure that the development projects are implemented as agreed.

• You define and improve our electronic development tool chain (aspart of the general Agile development process), our platform architecture andthe electronic components management
• You observe and evaluate relevant developments in new technologies in close coordination with the system architects and the Technology Office
• You work closely with the approvals department, strategic purchasing, core component suppliers, and the operations area (industrial engineering, supply chain, quality management)

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: Completed studies with a focus on electrical engineering/communications engineering or comparable
• Senior-level experience: 10+ years of professional experience in hardware-related product development, preferably as a team leader, product owner or project manager
• Knowledge and skills: Circuit design and EMC-compliant design, experience with data communication such as Ethernet and Wireless LAN as well as the practical application of platform concepts and agile development methods
• Personality: Strong communication skills and assertiveness in negotiations, structured approach and routine handling of uncertainty, entrepreneurial thinking and flexible action, ability to motivate and inspire your team
